Ernst Speidel

Ernst Speidel (born April 11, 1879 in Stuttgart , † September 25, 1957 in Wankendorf , Plön district ) was a German politician ( NSDAP ).

Life

Speidel was married to Rothraud Amanda Lous from Klaukendorf / Allenstein district / East Prussia (landowner 1850-1919, 855 ha). They had four children.

Speidel, who took part in the First World War (Hauptmann a. D.), was a member of the NSDAP (membership number 151.497) and was appointed district administrator in Lötzen in June 1933 . In October 1939, he was appointed district administrator in the district of Plhnen , based in Plonsk . At his own request, he was retired in October 1941.

In 1933 he was briefly a member of the provincial parliament of the province of East Prussia . Speidel entered the National Socialist Reichstag on July 7, 1940 as a member of the National Socialist Reichstag , to which he was a member until the end of the Nazi regime in spring 1945 as a representative of constituency 1 ( East Prussia ). In the SS (membership number 52.254) he reached the rank of Sturmbannführer.
