Ernst Weidner (politician)

Ernst Weidner (born May 31, 1885 in Herchenhain ; † April 22, 1956 in Ostheim ) was a Hessian politician ( DDP , LDP ) and former member of the state parliament of the People's State of Hesse in the Weimar Republic .

Life

Ernst Weidner was the son of the mayor and member of the state parliament Sebastian Weidner and his wife Elisabetha, née Kaiser.

Ernst Weidner attended grammar schools in Darmstadt , Worms and Büdingen and studied Protestant theology in Gießen from 1904 . He completed his studies in 1909 with the first theological examination in Gießen and in 1911 with the second theological examination in Darmstadt. From 1911 until his retirement in 1955 he was administrator, assistant, vicar and pastor in various parishes (Ober- Breidenbach , Langen , Ortenberg , Schwanheim , Affolterbach and Ober-Lais ). From 1936 he was pastor in Ostheim (Friedberg district).

Before 1933 he was a member of the DDP and for this from October 14, 1921 to November 27, 1921 a member of the Landtag of the People's State of Hesse. After 1945 he joined the FDP, which was then called the LDP in Hessen. For the LDP he was from February 26, 1946 to July 14, 1946 as a replacement for Reinhard Strecker's member of the advisory state committee .

Ernst Weidner was married and had three children.
