Eruh ( Kurdish : Dihê ) is a city and capital of the district of the same name ( İlçe ) in the southeast Anatolian province of Siirt . Eruh is 52 kilometers by road (air line: 30 km) in a south-easterly direction from Siirt .

The second largest district of the province is located in the southern part of this and borders on the central district ( Merkez ) of the provincial capital Siirt in the north and west, on the district of Pervari in the northeast and east and on the province of Şırnak in the south. The D370 trunk road runs through the district in a north-west-south-east direction.

In addition to the district town, the district consists of 54 villages ( Köy ) with an average of 185 inhabitants. The population numbers range from 1046 ( ocular ) down to 1, Akmeşe - the smallest village in the province. 15 villages have more than 185 inhabitants. The population density of 19.3 (inh. Per km²) is the lowest in the province, the urban population is 51.26%.
