The Erzbach is a three kilometer long right and south tributary of the Osterbach .
Surname
The name " Erzbach " refers to the former mining of manganese-containing rock in the Erzbachtal.

The Erzbach rises in the Odenwald at an altitude of about 380 m above sea level. NHN from the Burned Brünnchen , a spring on the edge of the Fürth Centwald north of the forest road . It flows parallel to the forest road along the edge of the forest in a northerly direction, then changes into a green landscape and then crosses the village of Reichelsheim - Erzbach . It now flows between the Steinkopf ( 331 m above sea level ) on its left and the Rote Berg ( 332 m above sea level ) on the right through a small forest and finally flows south of Reichelsheim- Unter-Easter at the corner of Ostertalstrasse / Forest road at an altitude of about 242 m above sea level. NHN in the Osterbach .
