Erzbach is a district of the Reichelsheim community in the Odenwaldkreis in southern Hesse .

Geographers

Erzbach is about five kilometers south of Reichelsheim on the state road 3105. The place belongs to the Odenwald in the southern part of Hesse and is part of the Bergstrasse-Odenwald Geo-Nature Park .

The first secure documentary mention of the village comes from the year 1324. In the Middle Ages ore was mined near the village.

On December 31, 1971, Erzbach was incorporated into the municipality of Reichelsheim i. Incorporated.
