Frohnhofen is a district of Reichelsheim in the Odenwald district in southern Hesse .

geography

Frohnhofen is located in the Odenwald in the southern part of Hesse, 1000 m southeast of the main town and is 208–225 m above sea level. State road 3105 runs through the village .

history

The hamlet was first mentioned in 1307 when Eberhard Schenk von Erbach and Eberhard Rauch, Schenk Johannes Sohn, compared each other about the joint ownership of "Burg Richenburg" and the associated goods.
