Laudenau is a district of the Reichelsheim community in the Odenwaldkreis in southern Hesse .
Laudenau is located in the Odenwald Wiesental.
history
The village was first mentioned in a document in 1012. However, settlement took place much earlier.
After a public survey in the course of the regional reform in Hesse , the municipality of Laudenau, which until then belonged to the Bergstrasse district , joined the Reichelsheim municipality on July 1, 1971 and thus came to the Erbach district , which was named Odenwaldkreis the following year .
