The archeparchy Hasakah-Nisibi (also Hassake-Nisibi , lat. : Archieparchia Hassakensis et Nisibenus Syrorum ) is in Syria located archeparchy the Syrian Catholic Church , based in al-Hasakah .

history

The Archeparchy Hasaka-Nisibi was founded on July 15, 1957 by Pope Pius XII. established with the Apostolic Constitution Summam animo as Eparchy Hassaké . On December 3, 1964, the Eparchy Hassaké was by Pope Paul VI. raised to the Archeparchy and renamed the Archeparchy Hassaké-Nisibi .
