The Archeparchy of Petra and Philadelphia ( Latin Archieparchia Petrensis et Philadelphiensis ) is a Melkite Archeparch with its seat in Amman, unified with the Roman Catholic Church .
history
The Arch Parchy was established on May 2, 1932. It unites two ancient bishoprics created in the fourth century : Petra in Palaestina salutaris and Philadelphia in Arabia Petraea .
