Twelve structures and sites in Estell Manor are on the National Register of Historic Places (NRHP) as of September 28, 2018, the Bethlehem Loading Company Mays Landing Plant Archeological Historic District and the Head of the River Church .
Demographics
As of the 2000 census, there are 1,585 people, 528 households, and 432 families in the city. The population density is 11.4 inhabitants per km². 94.20% of the population are White, 3.60% African American , 0.44% Native American , 0.32% Asian , 0.00% Pacific Islander , 0.13% Other Ethnicity, and 1.32% Mixed Race . 0.95% are Latinos of any race.
Of the 528 households, 41.1% have children under the age of 18. 71.0% of these are married couples living together, 7.4% are single mothers, 18.0% are not families, 13.8% consist of single households and 6.8% are people over 65. The average household size is 2 .95, the average family size 3.27.
