Eußenheim is the capital of the community Eußenheim in the Lower Franconian district of Main-Spessart in Bavaria .

location

The place is 176  m above sea level. NHN between Hammelburg and Karlstadt on the federal road 27 , into which the state road 2301 , on which the Schönarts located on the southern edge of the district is also located . The Waigolshausen – Gemünden railway runs through the east of the village .

history

Eußenheim was a district in the Karlstadt district until its dissolution. In 1961, 1,097 people lived there in 225 residential buildings. Eußenheim has been part of the Main-Spessart district since July 1, 1972 . As of December 31, 2018, the village had 1,116 main residents.

religion

Eußenheim is shaped by Catholicism. The church of St. Peter and Marcellinus belongs to the Karlstadt deanery .
