Eugen Heinrich Gugel (born March 26, 1832 in Bergzabern ; † May 21, 1905 in The Hague ) was a German architect and university lecturer for building studies in Delft . He was best known in the Netherlands .

Life

Gugel studied at the Polytechnic School in Munich and at the Munich Art Academy and became in 1864 the first university teacher of Structural Engineering of the Netherlands to the polytechnic school Delft, a forerunner of the Delft University of Technology , was appointed, where he taught until 1,902th His publications were used for teaching for decades.
