Eugen Plorin (born October 8, 1901 in Koenigsberg ; † November 19, 1943 in Rome ) was a German politician (NSDAP) and SA leader .

Live and act

Plorin attended elementary school and the Royal Hoof High School in his hometown. He then learned the practical and commercial profession of an automobile salesman. During the First World War , Plorin took part as a volunteer in the field artillery regiment 16. After the end of the war he worked in his profession.

In the 1920s, Plorin joined the National Socialist German Workers' Party (NSDAP). In the Sturmabteilung (SA), Plorin rose to brigade leader in November 1935. From July 1934 to the end of November 1935 he was staff leader of the SA group Westmark in Koblenz . Before that he was also Oberführer and Führer of SA Brigade 3 (Old Prussia) and Standartenführer and Adjutant of the Ostland Group. From the beginning of December 1936 to the end of April 1939 he led SA Brigade 43 Thuringia-North in Rudolstadt and was then a member of the SA group Berlin-Brandenburg .

In the Reichstag elections of July 1932 Plorin was 1 (East Prussia) as a candidate of the Nazi Party for the constituency in the parliament elected, which he henceforth belonged without interruption until his death 1943rd From March 1936 to April 1938, Plorin represented constituency 21 (Koblenz-Trier) and from April 1938 to 1943 constituency 12 (Thuringia). The most important parliamentary event in which Plorin took part during his time as a member of parliament was the passing of the Enabling Act in March 1933, which formed the basis for the establishment of the National Socialist dictatorship and which was also passed with Plorin's vote.

Plorin took part in the Second World War from 1939 , most recently as lieutenant in the reserve and commander of a tank destroyer company. After a serious injury on the Volturno , he died in Rome in November 1943.
