Eunice Jepkorir Kertich (born February 17, 1982 in Eldama Ravine ) is a Kenyan long distance and obstacle runner .

In 2004 she was seventh at the World Cross Country Championships . After that she was successful in various German road races. In 2004 and 2005 she won the Paderborn Easter Run over 10 km, in 2004 she broke Tegla Loroupe's twelve-year-old course record at 31:38 minutes at the Würzburg Residence Run over the same distance , and in the same year she won the Kassel City Run (5 km). In 2006 she set course records at the night of Borgholzhausen (25:27 min, 5 miles ), the Darmstadt city run and the Baden marathon (1:12:38 h, half marathon ). At the road running world championships in 2006 over 20 kilometers in Debrecen she finished 14th in 1:06:47 h and won gold with the Kenyan team.

In the 2007 season, Jepkorir focused on the 3,000 meter obstacle course. On June 15th she won the Bislett Games in Oslo in 9: 19.44 minutes, and on July 2nd in Athens she increased her best time to 9: 14.52 minutes.

At the 2007 World Athletics Championships in Osaka, she was able to win the bronze medal in this discipline.

She celebrated her greatest success so far at the 2008 Olympic Games in Beijing, where she won the silver medal behind the superior winner Gulnara Galkina in a new personal best of 9: 07.41 minutes.
