Euro Truck Simulator is a simulation game released in 2008 by the Czech developer SCS Software . The player drives through 17 different cities in Europe and can transport very different types of freight.
From version 1.3 of the game, the player was also able to travel to London , Manchester and Newcastle in the United Kingdom.
The game is based on the game engine Prism 3d, which was programmed by SCS Software in C ++ .
truck
The game includes the truck brands Scania , Volvo , Renault and Mercedes-Benz . Due to the lack of licensing, these are named differently: Swift, Valiant, Runner, Majestic. There are three different trucks of each truck brand in the game, each belonging to class A, B or C. At the start of the game, the player can choose a C-class truck with which he would like to start his career.
All trucks have functional measuring devices (fuel gauge, speedometer, etc.) and rear-view mirrors.
