The III. European Rhythmic Gymnastics Championships took place between October 28 and 31, 1982 in Stavanger , Norway . The competition program was not changed.
For the first time, the highest grade of 10,000 was awarded in a device finale to the Bulgarian winner Anelia Ralenkova.
