European Academy for Islamic Culture and Science

The European Academy for Islamic Culture and Science (European Academy for Islamic Culture and Science;الأكاديمية الأوروبية للثقافة والعلوم الإسلامية) or the Dar Al Hikmah ( Arabic دار الحكمة, DMG dār al-ḥikma ) in Brussels (Bruxelles / Brussels), Belgium , is one of the projects of the Tabah Foundation from the United Arab Emirates (UAE). The facility opened in 1997 in Brussels.

According to the Tabah Foundation, the academy should enable students to acquire solid knowledge of Islamic science and culture within four years within the framework of a traditional Islamic approach. Her teaching subjects include Quran sciences , theology , hadith , jurisprudence , history and Arabic language . The Tabah Foundation cooperates with the Academy and provides support and assistance in formulating a workable method for the Academy, Administration and Finance departments and the establishment of an endowment fund to achieve their main goals.

Muhammad Alwani Al-Sharif ( Arabic محمد علواني الشريف), one of the signatories of the Open Letter of Islamic Scholars to Pope Benedict XVI. and the open letter a common word between us and you ( Engl. A Common Word Between Us and You ), their leader (2007).

Sheikh Habib Ali al-Jifri in his advisory board is also a board member of the Dar al-Mustafa in Tarim , Yemen , and a member of the Royal Aal al-Bayt Institute for Islamic Thought ( Royal Aal al-Bayt Institute for Islamic Thought ) in Amman , Jordan .

Farouk Hamada is also on her Board of Trustees .

In the same, 1004 in Cairo under the Fatimids - Caliph al-Hakim bi-Amr Allah founded Dar al-Hikmah met at the time the crème de la crème of Muslim scholars from around the world.
