European Muslim Network

The European Muslim Network ("Network of European Muslims"; abbreviation EMN ) is a Muslim think tank founded in 2005 and based in Brussels that unites European Muslim intellectuals and activists. Its founder and president is Tariq Ramadan (with the country indication "England"), the son of Said Ramadan . Its coordinator is Malika Hamidi from Belgium .

Among the prominent members of the EMN is Ahmet Alibašić , a representative of Islam in Bosnia and Herzegovina , the director of the branch of the US-Muslim think tank International Institute of Islamic Thought (IIIT), which sees itself as a think tank for the Muslim Brotherhood Thinking ') in Sarajevo .

The EMN calls on Muslims to

"To realize their responsibility and participate in the construction of an Islam in Europe that is modern, defiant, reflective and self-conscious, for the benefit of the European society at large and in the interest of the Muslim communities in Europe in particular. / dt. to recognize their responsibility and to participate in the construction of an Islam in Europe that is modern, defiant, reflective and self-confident, for the benefit of European society in general and in the interest of the Muslim communities in Europe in particular. German members of the team include Sabiha Erbakan-El-Zayat as a founding member and her husband Ibrahim El-Zayat , the businessman and functionary of Islamic organizations in Europe ; also Mohammed Belal El-Mogaddedi , Nezar Mahmoud and Michael Pfaff.
