Eusebio Guiñez
Eusebio Guiñez ( Eusebio Crispin Guiñez; born December 16, 1906 in Rivadavia , Mendoza province , † October 1, 1987 in Mendoza ) was an Argentine long-distance runner .
At the South American Athletics Championships, he won over 10,000 m in Montevideo in 1933 and won bronze over 5,000 m . In 1941 in Buenos Aires he won bronze in road running over a distance of 32 km, and in 1943 in Santiago de Chile he won silver in road running (32 km) and in cross country running . 1947 in Rio de Janeiro followed silver medals in the 5000 m and in the road run (32 km).
At the 1948 Olympic Games in London, he was fifth in the marathon . His placement over 10,000 m is not recorded.
In 1949 he won bronze in the 20 km road race at the South American Athletics Championships in Lima .
