Eva Hovenkamp (born July 19, 1996 in Ede ) is a Dutch sprinter .

Career

Eva Hovenkamp gained her first international experience in 2014 at the Junior World Championships in Eugene , where she was eliminated in the first round with the Dutch 4 x 100 meter relay with 45.29 seconds. The following year she reached the semi-finals at the European Junior Championships in Eskilstuna over 100 and 200 meters, in which she was eliminated with 11.94 s and 23.79 s. With the season she reached the final, in which the season could not end the run. In 2016 she took part in the 4 x 400 meter relay at the European Championships in Amsterdam , where she finished seventh in 3: 29.23 minutes. At the 2017 U23 European Championships in Bydgoszcz , Poland , she was eliminated in the 400-meter run in the preliminary round. At the World Championships in London , she was disqualified with the relay in the run-up . In 2019 she reached the semi-finals at the Summer Universiade in Naples , where she was eliminated with 54.27 s.

She is a student at Wageningen University .
