Eva Lynd
Eva Lynd (born Eva Inga Margareta von Fielitz on September 2, 1937 in Örgryte , Sweden ) is a former actress and model .
Life
Eva was born in 1937 in Örgryte as the daughter of Count Asti von Fielitz and his wife, the soprano Margareta von Fielitz . In 1950 she moved to the United States with her mother . Among other things, she attended the High School of Music & Art . In 1953 Eva moved to Ohio and got her first role at the Rabbit Run Theater in 1955 .
After various appearances in variety shows such as the Perry Como Show or the Steve Allen Show , she began her career as a pin-up model and actress in 1956 . It was not only photographed by well-known artists such as Peter Basch or Earl Leaf , but also served, in close collaboration with actor Steve Holland , as a model for numerous illustrators for the drawings for the men's magazines popular in the USA .
In 1964 she emerged from the pomade tube as an advertising character for Brylcreem . The commercial was published again in 1986 and awarded the D&AD prize for “Best Advertising of the 1960s” and “Best TV Campaign 1986” . In 1997 the spot was voted 43rd by Entertainment Weekly in the selection of the best commercial .
Eva has been married to actor Warren Munson since 1978, with whom she still lives in Los Angeles today. She still shoots commercials with her husband, such as for the Campbell Soup Company .
