Eva von Bahr (makeup artist)

Eva Elisabet von Bahr (born December 17, 1968 in Malmö ) is a Swedish make- up artist and hairdresser .

Life

Von Bahr began her career as a hairdresser before working for a theater for a few years. After that, she worked for Swedish television for four years. Since the 90s, engagements as a make-up artist and hairdresser for films followed.

In 2003 she founded together with Love Larson , the company makeup designer AB , with which they have been working for several Swedish film and television productions.

In 2016, von Bahr and Larson received an Oscar nomination for starring in The Hundred Year Old Who Got Out the Window and Disappeared . Von Bahr and Larson received another Oscar nomination for their collaboration on A Man Called Ove (2016). Von Bahr was also nominated several times for the Guldbagge in the Best Make-up category and was awarded the prize for A Man Called Ove (2016) and Jatten (2017).

Their first marriage from 1998 to 2009 resulted in a son (* 2001) and a daughter (* 2004). She has been married to her colleague Love Larson since 2015, with whom she has another son (* 2009).
