Evan David Taubenfeld (born June 27, 1983 in Baltimore , Maryland ) is an American musician . He played u. a. as guitarist for Avril Lavigne .

Since he left Avril's band in 2004, he has been working on his own album with his new band The Black List Club . The release of the album has already been postponed several times. It was released on May 18, 2010. The album will only feature songs written and sung by Evan. He also plays as it did on Avril Lavigne's album Let Go and Under My Skin , guitar . Despite his departure from Avril Lavigne, the two continued to work together and together wrote four of the songs on their album The Best Damn Thing . Evan also appeared in many of the songs on Avril's new album "Goodbye Lullaby".

family

Evan David Taubenfeld is the eldest son of Ami and Mark Taubenfeld. He has a younger brother, Drew (born 1985), and a younger sister, Amy (born 1991). Evan lived in his parents' home in Baltimore, Maryland, USA while he was Avril's guitarist. He now lives in Los Angeles, where he can devote himself to his band The Black List Club. His record company Sire Records and its parent company Warner Brothers are also headquartered there.
