Ewa Komander (born February 24, 1985 in Kędzierzyn-Koźle ) is a Polish triathlete , Polish U23 champion in 2007 and elite runner-up in 2013.

Career

Ewa Komander represented the Olimpia Poznań Association until the end of 2010 . In 2007 she became the Polish U23 triathlon champion.

In 2011 she was to start for the elite team Stadtwerke Team Witten in the German Bundesliga.

National runner-up in long-distance triathlon

In July 2013 she became Polish Vice State Champion in the long distance triathlon and in August also third in the short distance (1.5 km swimming, 40 km cycling and 10 km running).

At the European Championships in the middle distance, she took third place in 2015.

At the Challenge Mogán Gran Canaria , the then 33-year-old finished second in the middle distance behind Yvonne van Vlerken in April 2018 . In May she finished seventh on the middle distance at the Challenge Salou in Spain with a personal best.

In November 2019 she finished second in Mexico behind Mirinda Carfrae at the Ironman 70.3 Los Cabos .
