history
Expire was founded in 2009 in Milwaukee , Wisconsin, USA by singer Joshua Kelting, guitarist Zack Dear, bassist Caleb Murphy and drummer Marcus Boldt.
By June 2014, Expire released an album called Pendulum Swings , which was produced by Bridge Nine Records . The band was previously signed to Six Feet Under Records , which released the EPs Grim Rhythm (2010), Suffer the Cycle (2011) and Sink With Me (2012). In addition, the group released a live CD with Live at Sound and Fury (2012) and a split with the group Soul Control (2013).
The group has toured Japan , North America and Europe . Expire performed with groups like Coldburn , Your Demise , Being as an Ocean , Counterparts and Hundredth .
On June 17, 2014, Expire released their second album Pretty Low on Bridge Nine Records . On June 25, 2014, the group started a concert tour through the United States , which ended on July 17, 2014. Then the group flew to Europe, where another concert tour was scheduled between July 26th and August 17th, 2014. The group could also be seen at the Ieper Festival .
On August 8, 2016, the group surprisingly announced its breakup. However, the album With Regret will be released on September 23, 2016 . In addition, the band will play a farewell tour through Europe at the end of 2016 with Landscapes and Knocked Loose .
