Express AM2 is a television satellite owned by the Russian Satellite Communications Company (RSCC) based in Moscow . He was launched into orbit on March 30, 2005 aboard a Proton K rocket .

Express AM2 not only broadcasts radio and TV programs; State and private internet and telecommunication services , VSAT-supported network technology and multimedia services, for example for distance education or telemedicine, are also made possible.
