The 2002/03 season was the eleventh season of the Belarusian Extraliga , the highest Belarusian ice hockey division . The HK Homel became champions for the first time in the club's history .

Main round

mode

In the main round, each of the eight teams played a total of 42 games. The four best-placed teams qualified for the playoffs in which the champions were played out. Each team received three points for a win after regular time, two points for a win after overtime, one point for a loss after overtime and zero points for a defeat after regular time.
