The 2012/13 season is the 21st season of the Belarusian Extraliga , the highest Belarusian ice hockey division . Champion was for the fourth time in the club's history HK Njoman Hrodna .

The season was divided into three phases. Initially, all eleven teams played a common main round in which each team played 40 games. The teams were then divided into two groups. With six teams, group A had one more participant than group B. While the teams in group A played another ten games, the teams in group B played eight games. The six teams in Group A and the two best-placed teams in Group B qualified for the playoffs in which the champions were played. Each team received three points for a win after regular time, two points for a win after overtime or shootout, one point for a defeat after overtime or shootout and zero points for a defeat after regular time.
