The 2012/13 season was the 53rd season of the Eredivisie , the highest Dutch ice hockey division . Champion was for the tenth time in the club's history HYS The Hague .

In the summer of 2012, the North Sea Cup was dissolved as an independent competition, instead Belgian clubs were given a license to play in the Dutch Eredivisie.

In the main round, the seven teams played 36 games each. The four best-placed teams qualified for the playoffs in which the champions were played out. Each team received three points for a win after regular time, two points for a win after overtime, one point for a loss after overtime and zero points for a defeat after regular time.
