The 1970/71 season was the eleventh season of the Eredivisie , the highest Dutch ice hockey division . The Tilburg Trappers became champions for the second time in the club's history , as the Eaters Geleen were not awarded the title due to the commitment of too many foreign players.

In the main round, each of the five teams played a total of eight games. The first place in the main round was champion. Each team received two points for a win, one point for a draw and zero points for a defeat.
