The 1995/96 season was the 36th season of the Eredivisie , the highest Dutch ice hockey division . The Tilburg Trappers became champions for the tenth time in the club's history .

All six teams qualified for the playoffs in which the champions were played, with the first two places in the main round being set for the playoff semifinals. Each team received two points for a win, one point for a draw and zero points for a defeat.
