The 2009/10 season was the 50th season of the Eredivisie , the highest Dutch ice hockey division . The champions were the Nijmegen Devils for the ninth time in the club's history .

In the main round, the eight teams played 28 games each. The top six teams qualified for the playoffs in which the champions were played, with the first two placed for the playoff semifinals. Each team received three points for a win after regular time, two points for a win after overtime, one point for a loss after overtime and zero points for a defeat after regular time.
