The earth snake ( Jisi , Chinese  己巳 , Pinyin jǐsì ) is the 6th year of the Chinese calendar (see table 天 支 60-year cycle). It is a term from the field of Chinese astrology and denotes the lunar years that are linked by a connection between the sixth heavenly stem ( , , element earth and Yīn ) and the sixth earth branch ( , ), symbolized by the snake ( , shé ), are characterized.
