The water dragon ( Renchen , Chinese  壬辰 , Pinyin rénchén ) is the 29th year of the Chinese calendar (see table 天 支 60-year cycle). It is a term from the field of Chinese astrology and describes those lunar years that are linked by a connection of the ninth heavenly stem ( amm , rén , element water and Yáng ) with the fifth earth branch ( , chén ), symbolized by the dragon ( , lóng ), are characterized.
