Water snake ( Guisi , Chinese  癸巳 , Pinyin guǐsì ) is the name of the 30th year of the Chinese calendar (see table 天 支 60-year cycle). It is a term from the field of Chinese astrology and describes those lunar years that are linked by a connection between the tenth heavenly stem ( , guǐ , element water and Yīn ) and the sixth earth branch ( , ), symbolized by the snake ( , shé ), are characterized.
