The metal horse ( Gengwu ( Chinese  庚午 , Pinyin gēngwǔ )) is the 7th year of the Chinese calendar (see table 天 支 60-year cycle). It is a term from the field of Chinese astrology and describes those lunar years that are linked by a connection between the seventh heavenly stem ( , gēng , element metal and Yáng ) and the seventh earth branch ( , ), symbolized by the horse ( , ), are characterized.
