The earth rat ( Wuzi , Chinese  戊子 , Pinyin wùzǐ ) is the 25th year of the Chinese calendar (see table 天 支 60-year cycle). It is a term from the field of Chinese astrology and describes those lunar years that are linked by a connection of the fifth heavenly stem ( amm , , element earth and Yáng ) with the first earth branch ( , ), symbolized by the rat ( , shǔ ), are characterized.
