The wooden pig ( Yihai , Chinese  乙亥 , Pinyin yǐhài ) is the 12th year of the Chinese calendar (see table 天 支 60-year cycle). It is a term from the field of Chinese astrology and denotes those lunar years that are linked by a connection between the second celestial stem ( , , element wood and Yīn ) and the twelfth earth branch ( , hài ), symbolized by the pig ( , zhū ), are characterized.
