壬子

The water rat ( Renzi , Chinese  壬子 , Pinyin rénzǐ ) is the 49th year of the Chinese calendar (see table 天 支 60-year cycle). It is a term from the field of Chinese astrology and describes those lunar years that are linked by a connection between the ninth celestial stem ( , rén , element water and Yáng ) and the first earth branch ( , ), symbolized by the rat ( , shǔ ), are characterized.
