On this page the monuments of the Upper Franconian market Marktrodach are compiled. This table is a partial list of the list of architectural monuments in Bavaria . The basis is the Bavarian Monument List , which was first drawn up on the basis of the Bavarian Monument Protection Act of October 1, 1973 and has since been managed by the Bavarian State Office for Monument Preservation . The following information does not replace the legally binding information from the monument protection authority. This list reflects the update from April 30, 2020 and contains 113 monuments.

Sandstone obelisk | 18th century
The approximately four-meter-high obelisk may have been erected as the successor to a wooden cross that was erected on the Kreuzberg in 1634 and which was removed at an unspecified time. It consists of a square base with fields with quadrant corners on four sides. The base is followed by a ledge on which a cube rests. The conical tip of the obelisk with its pyramid-shaped end stands on it. The sides of the tip and the cube are also fielded, the west side of the cube shows a relief of the Flight into Egypt framed by acanthus . |

Cross tug | Sandstone, 1718
The sandstone figure rests on a simple base that ends with a simple ledge. In a deeper field on the front side there is the following weathered inscription: “See O sinners, Jesus Your Heijland carries that heavy creutz for you Darumb Sey… blessings thankful to him… your… the pain and let him through such pain that he… and Through His great Mercy give you Eternal Bliss ”. The inscription ends with the initials “CK” and underneath the year 1718. The figure of Christ fallen under the cross looks up to the sky. The right hand rests on the chest, the left grips the cross trunk. |
