The monuments of the Upper Franconian community of Reichenbach are compiled on this page . This table is a partial list of the list of architectural monuments in Bavaria . The basis is the Bavarian Monument List , which was first drawn up on the basis of the Bavarian Monument Protection Act of October 1, 1973 and has since been managed by the Bavarian State Office for Monument Preservation . The following information does not replace the legally binding information from the monument protection authority. This list reflects the update from April 15, 2020 and contains 14 monuments.

Kapellenstrasse, next to the field chapel ( location )	Wayside shrine	Arched top with Jesus on the cross, sandstone, 17th / 18th centuries century The round-arched wayside shrine made of sandstone shows a relief with a representation of the crucifixion group on the front side , the other three sides are empty. Kapellenstrasse, at the field chapel ( location )	crossroads	Cast iron, on a sandstone base The top of this monument is a simple cast iron cross with wider ends. It has a painted body above which a scroll with the words " INRI " is attached. The essay is mounted on a two-part rectangular sandstone base, the lower part of which shows strongly pronounced quarry stone masonry . The upper part is smooth with a fluted finish. Its front side bears the years "1914/18" and "1939/45" separated by a paw cross and the inscription "We fell for you." You pray for us! The fallen of both world wars ”.	D-4-76-166-5	more pictures
Kapellenstrasse ( location )	Saint Joseph with baby Jesus	Bronze sculpture on a sandstone base, 1904 The bronze sculpture stands on a smooth sandstone plinth, which is corniced at the base and end . On the main field there is the inscription "Erected by the Förtsch family in 1904" and on the broader base below the inscription "Through the intercession of St. Joseph we have been freed from a great plague". The figure of Joseph carries the baby Jesus on its right arm ; with her left hand she originally held a lily staff as a saint's attribute , but it has come off. The heads of the two figures have halos surrounded.	D-4-76-166-6
Kirchstrasse 32 ( location )	crossroads	Cast iron on a sandstone base, 19th century This wayside cross stands on a rectangular sandstone pedestal, the surfaces of which show suggested quarry stone masonry. The cast iron top is decorated and has a broad base on which the relief of a kneeling angel can be seen between two columns. The cross base is also flanked by two angels who hold a chalice with a host and a wreath in their raised hands . On the trunk of the cross there is an oval inscription panel framed by garlands and curved ribbons without content. The body, which shows the Latin gesture of blessing , is surrounded by bundles of rays emanating from the crossing of the cross. A plaque with the inscription "INRI" is attached to the head of the cross.	D-4-76-166-7	more pictures
750 m southwest of the village on the KC 8 district road to Teuschnitz ( location )	crossroads	Sandstone plinth and cast iron crucifix, 19th century The wayside cross originally at this location has gone off. The top was attached to a tree trunk in 1979, the square, two-tier sandstone plinth was damaged next to it. Later the wayside cross was probably renovated and attached to a new base with a curved end. The field on the front bears the inscription "Praise be to Jesus Christ", on the upper part a Greek cross is carved. In a traffic accident in early 2010, the original cross attachment was irreparably damaged. At the end of 2013, a very similar attachment was attached to the base, originally from a tombstone in Zeyern and donated to the Reichenbach community by its owner.	D-4-76-166-8	more pictures
About 600 m southwest of the village on the KC 8 district road towards Teuschnitz ( location )	Wayside shrine, so-called Kounerschmarter	Sandstone, column and four-sided tower with triangular gables, 19th century The wayside shrine rests on a smooth, square base that is stepped upwards via bevels. A simple column shaft with a four-sided attachment stands on the base. Instead of the usual reliefs, porcelain panels are attached to three of the fields under the four gables . The main page shows a representation of the crucifixion group, the back is blank. The top is crowned with an iron cross. The reason for the foundation of the wayside shrine is the story of a Reichenbach farmer who hanged himself in his barn and then wandered around Reichenbach as a dead man. On Schönwappenweg, about 2 km north of the village ( location )	Border stone, so-called Little Bishop's Stone	Boundary stone, sandstone, with coat of arms, 1651 The state boundary stone no. 638 bears the coat of arms of the bishopric of Bamberg on the Bavarian side , above the inscription "GGM" (the complete inscription and its meaning are unknown) and below it the year 1651. The Thuringian side shows the coat of arms of the duchy Saxony. Above the coat of arms is the fragmentary inscription "W ... C ... On Schönwappenweg, about 2.3 km northeast of Reichenbach ( location )	Border stone, so-called Great Bishop's Stone	Sandstone, 1619 The state boundary stone No. 648 shows the official coat of arms of Johann Gottfried I von Aschhausen , Prince-Bishop of the Bamberg and Würzburg Monasteries on the side facing Bavaria . Above the coat of arms are the fragments of the inscription "GBZBWVH" (originally probably "JGBZBWVHZF" = Johann Gottfried, Bishop of Bamberg, Würzburg and Duke of Franconia), including the year 1619. On the Thuringian side, the boundary stone bears the remains of the inscription " VSALTLIN ”(presumably originally“ HZVSALTLIN ”= Duke of Saxony, Altenburg Line), the coat of arms of the Duchy of Saxony and the year 1619 underneath. On Schönwappenweg, about 2.5 km northeast of Reichenbach ( location )	Border stone, so-called Kurfürstenstein	Sandstone, 1513 On the side pointing in the direction of Bavaria, the state boundary stone no. 656 bears the fragmentary inscription "g vo gotts gnade 1513 hove zv bamberg" (originally probably "georg vo gotts gnade 1513 bischove zv bamberg" = George by God's grace 1513 Bishop of Bamberg) and below the coat of arms of Prince-Bishop Georg III. Gift of Limpurg . On the Thuringian side there is the inscription "by god's grace fridri churfürst vn has gbrude herzoche zv sacssen 151" (originally probably "by god's grace fridrich churfürst vn has gbruder herzoche zv sacssen 1513" = By God's grace Friedrich Kurfürst and Hans (Johann) his brother, Dukes of Saxony 1513), including a double coat of arms of the Electorate of Saxony .
