- After the death of his father Qin Shihuangdi in the previous year, Qin Er Shi, following the advice of the chief eunuch Zhao Gao and the chancellor Li Si, forged a decree in which he ordered the actual heir Fusu to commit suicide and he himself was appointed as his successor. He becomes the second emperor of the Qin dynasty .
