- The Roman tribune orders the division of the Ager Gallicus around Rimini among the plebeians (Lex Flaminia de agro Gallico et Piceno viritim dividundo).

- The inhabitants of the Aetolian city of Pleuron , devastated by Demetrios II of Macedonia , build a new city a little further west under the same name.
- After the death of King Alexander II of Epirus (historical region) (around 245 BC?), Turmoil broke out there. Alexander's sons Pyrrhos II. And Ptolemaios , who are under the influence of their mother, Olympias II , rule one after the other . Pyrrhus and probably Ptolemy as well fall victim to assassinations, Pyrrhus' daughter Nereis marries Gelon II of Syracuse, her sister Deidameia is murdered (around 232 BC) in the Temple of Artemis.
