The 2004/05 season was the 45th season of the Eredivisie , the highest Dutch ice hockey division . The champions were the Amsterdam Bulldogs for the sixth time in the club's history .

Even if the Eredivisie had six participants again, they first played a joint cup competition with the first division side from Belgium. According to their placement in the joint Belgian-Dutch cup competition, the Eredivisie participants in the Eredivisie main round were divided into two groups. All three teams in Group A and the first place in Group B qualified for the playoffs in which the champions were played off. Each team received three points for a win after regular time, two points for a win after overtime, one point for a loss after overtime and zero points for a defeat after regular time.
