The 2005/06 season was the 46th season of the Eredivisie , the highest Dutch ice hockey division . The champions were the Nijmegen Emperors for the eighth time in the club's history .

In the main round, the six teams played 20 games each. The four best-placed teams qualified for the playoffs in which the champions were played out. Each team received three points for a win after regular time, two points for a win after overtime, one point for a loss after overtime and zero points for a defeat after regular time.
