The Eysse is a river in France that runs in the Ardèche department in the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region . It rises in the northern foothills of the Cevennes , in the municipality of Borée . The source is about two kilometers south of Mont Mézenc , in the Monts d'Ardèche Regional Nature Park . The Eysse generally drains in a north-easterly direction and flows into the Eyrieux as a right tributary after 23 kilometers in the municipality of Saint-Martin-de-Valamas .
