Félix Danvin
Victor Marie Félix Danvin (* 1802 in Paris ; † February 13, 1842 there ) was a French landscape painter.
Life
Félix Danvin attended the École des Beaux-Arts and studied with Guérin, Lethière , Watelet and Rémond. He exhibited in the salon from 1831 ; preferably he created views from Normandy , Brittany etc. His depiction of the banks of the Seine at Château Gaillard in Les Andelys is in the Musée Fabre in Montpellier , a painting showing Mont Saint-Michel in the Musée des Beaux-Arts de Nancy . His landscapes were spread through engravings by Boys.
Félix Danvin married Constance Amélie Lambert (born May 3, 1810 in Lille , † July 18, 1888), who was also a painter. Pictures by Constance Amélie Danvin were on view in the Paris Salon from 1844 to 1848. The connection resulted in the daughter Sophie , who became a musician and later moved to Munich with her husband Max Kolb . The daughter Annette Kolb was born there.
