The Föhn Peninsula is a peninsula on the Scott Coast of the East Antarctic Victoria Land . It protrudes southeast of Mount Abbott from the Northern Foothills into Terra Nova Bay . The Cape Russell forms its southern foothills.
Scientists from the German expedition GANOVEX III (1982–1983) named it.
