The Fördepark ( also: Förde-Park) in Flensburg is a shopping center that, with a rental area of 36,290 square meters and more than 50 shops, is one of the largest shopping centers in Northern Germany. The operator is MEC METRO-ECE Centermanagement GmbH & Co. KG , which also owns the Bremen Weserpark .
location
The Fördepark is decentralized from downtown Flensburg in the south of the Südstadt district , where the commercial area is also located. It is connected to the A 7 and the B 200 via nearby junctions , and its location is therefore geared towards the needs of the Flensburg area. The Fördepark can be reached from the city center with the AFAG buses . Rail travelers can take bus line 1 or 5 from Flensburg train station to the Flensburg central bus station and change from there to bus line 14, 1550 or 4810.
Shops and events
The stores include branches from Real (retail chain) , Obi , Intersport , Gerry Weber and Apollo-Optik . In the course of the year, various events take place in the Fördepark, such as various exhibitions, shopping Sundays or so-called “midnight shopping”.
