Fürstensee is a district of the city of Neustrelitz in the Mecklenburg Lake District in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania .
Until April 22, 1992, Fürstensee was an independent municipality.
Geography and transport links
Fürstensee is located southeast of the core town of Neustrelitz. The B 96 and the B 198 run west. East extends the 204 ha large Large Fürstenseer lake .
